1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this service at aicademy.study, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

This service is an online tool that provides access to AI-powered text generation functionality. It generates drafts, outlines, and reference materials using artificial intelligence technology.

Generated materials are auxiliary in nature and intended for your own further development and editing.

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication providers available in your region. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Free Preview

You can generate and view the content structure for free before making any payment. Before creation, the Service asks you to confirm that the preview (for example, the introduction, table of contents, and sources) may be published in the catalog and indexed by search engines. The full document always remains private and is available only to its owner.

If you purchase the privacy add-on, the public preview is hidden and removed from the catalog and search indexing.

4.2. Paid Generation

Full text generation is a paid service. Access is provided by a one-time project purchase or an active subscription where it is available in your market.

4.3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law

4.4. Factcheck Service Payments

Payment for the Factcheck service is a voluntary contribution to support the project. The user may choose an amount of 0. Legally, any payment > 0 is processed as the purchase of a non-exclusive license to use computational resources for report generation.

5. Compensation Policy

5.1. Refunds and consumer rights

Before generation begins, you may request a refund. Once service has started, mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply. For a verified technical failure, you may choose a refund or a free re-generation.

5.2. Technical failures

If a verified technical failure prevents delivery, you may choose a free re-generation or a refund.

5.3. Resolution Process

Contact support (legal@aicademy.study) with the issue. Once we verify the technical failure, we will confirm the available resolution.

5.4. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this section limits your non-waivable rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer (CRITICAL)

6.1. Tool, Not Author

This service is a text creation assistance tool, not a replacement for your own work. Generated material is a draft, not a finished product. You are the author and bear full responsibility for the final result.

6.2. Trust, But Verify

Artificial intelligence may make errors including:

Factual inaccuracies — dates, figures, events
"Hallucinations" — plausible but false statements
Non-existent sources — references to works that do not exist
Outdated information — data may not be current

You are obligated to independently verify all information before use.

6.3. No Warranties

We do not guarantee:

Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of generated content
Suitability for any specific purpose
Absence of similarities with other texts — checking is your responsibility
Compliance with any standards or requirements

6.4. Exclusive User Responsibility

You bear full and exclusive responsibility for the use of generated materials, including but not limited to: publication, distribution, and commercial use.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content generated through our service. We do not claim ownership of your generated materials. However, you grant us a limited license to process your input data for the purpose of providing the service.

If you delete your account, we delete your generated content (including previews) and associated project data, except where retention is required by law.

8. AI Transparency & Labeling

8.1. Disclosure of AI Interaction

In compliance with emerging global AI regulations, we hereby disclose that you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system.

8.2. Labeling Obligations

When publishing or disseminating content generated by the Service that could be perceived as human-made, you are obligated to clearly label it as AI-generated.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service:

For any unlawful purpose
To violate any laws or regulations
To generate content that infringes intellectual property rights
To attempt to bypass payment or access controls
To reverse engineer or exploit our systems

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws based on your location. For EU users, GDPR applies. For Russian users, local consumer protection laws apply.
